I like to think of myself as more than just your photographer—I’m your guide, your calm in the chaos, and the one quietly preserving the moments you’ll want to remember forever. I know how overwhelming planning a wedding can feel, which is why I’m here to make the process as effortless as possible—from helping with your timeline to offering gentle posing guidance that feels natural and never forced. Whether you’re camera-shy or envisioning effortless, editorial-style photos, I’ll make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and fully present. With a blend of authenticity and elegance, I focus on capturing not just how your wedding looks, but how it feels—so you can relive those fleeting moments for years to come.
I was born and raised in a small town in Germany called Gerolzhofen, and from the time I was six, I knew I wanted to be a photographer. I was always drawn to photographing life, making sure my future self would be able to look back at it all.
My Opa gifted me my very first camera, and from that moment on, I was the kid taking photos of everything - family gatherings, flowers, vacations, the everyday little moments, the toys on my shelves, you name it, it was worth photographing.
At 17, I moved to the U.S., and no matter where I was (Germany, Georgia, Mississippi, or Michigan), photography remained my constant. Throughout school, I naturally became "the photographer" and I loved photographing my friends, school events, and every day life.
During my freshman year of college at Western Michigan University, I met my husband and discovered my love for wedding photography. The joy, the emotion, the gatherings- I knew this was what I was meant for.
In 2015, I made it official. I started photographing weddings, families, seniors, everything driven by my love for storytelling and documenting life. Then in 2019, I decided to take RMP full time.
By 2024, I photographed my 100th wedding, and every single one has reaffirmed why I do this. I don't just take photos - I help my couples feel comfortable, confident, and truly in the moment.
After getting married myself, I realized how much I value a photographer who plans, communicates, and takes the guesswork away. I swore I'd be the kind of photographer who ensures her couples feel seen, understood, and taken care of.
When you book with me, you're not just getting a photographer - you're getting a guide, a friend, and someone who truly understand the importance of holding on to all of the little moments. Your experience will be seamless, stress-free, and beautifully captured in a way that feels like you.
Photography has taken me on an incredible journey, and I'm always dreaming of what's next. I want to continue capturing love stories across the U.S. and Europe, creating timeless, emotional images for couples who value photography as much as I do.

She makes you feel so calm and knows exactly what to tell you in terms of posing to get amazing photos! She’s also a voice of reason when you need it on the day! She knew what family was related during early photos and quickly arranged us exactly where it made sense.

Raechel’s warmth and dedication to her craft are undeniable. She truly listens and takes the time to understand your vision. On our wedding day, she was a calming presence, guiding us through the process with ease and making everything feel natural. She captured every moment beautifully, and the entire experience was quick, smooth, and stress-free. I had complete confidence in her abilities from the start.
