A Helpful Guide for Couples
One of the most common concerns couples share with me before engagement photos is this
“We want our photos to feel natural, but we don’t know what to do.”
The truth is, great engagement photos aren’t about knowing how to pose. They’re about creating an experience that feels comfortable and intentional.
Start with a location that means something to you or fits your lifestyle. Whether that’s a trail you love, a city you frequent, or a cozy indoor space, familiarity helps you relax.
Wear outfits that feel like elevated versions of yourselves. You should feel confident, not restricted. Movement matters more than perfection.
Trust guidance. You don’t need to perform or act. My job is to guide you in a way that allows real moments to happen within a relaxed structure.
Most importantly, allow yourselves to slow down. Engagement sessions aren’t just about photos. They’re about creating space to connect, laugh, and be present together. When that happens, the images naturally reflect who you are.
